The "Word" is...

An exciting new exhibition at Stanek Gallery Miami will exhibit a painting that has been under lock and key in my private collection for 18 years. It was perfect timing and an incredible theme to bring out my piece titled, "Deep Below the Arms of Industry". WORD brings together a diverse group of contemporary artists exploring the many ways language inhabits visual art. From handwritten marks and expressive letterforms to printed text, coded systems, correspondence, and technological relics, the exhibition examines how artists transform communication into visual experience. Here, words are appreciated not only for what they say, but for how they look, feel, function, and support a work of visual art.
